They are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Lawyer to support a UK-based law firm remotely, managing a wide range of civil litigation matters and collaborating closely with clients and barristers.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk, and procedure under the UK Civil Procedure Rules
Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and settlement agreements
Handle court filings, disclosure processes, and liaise with courts and third parties
Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations based on findings
Collaborate with barristers and other stakeholders on trial preparation and hearings
Maintain accurate and organized case files using digital tools and platforms
Provide timely updates and clear communication with clients and team leads

Required

3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation, preferably with UK law firms or legal departments
Strong understanding and practical experience with the UK Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
Proven ability to handle a broad range of civil litigation matters including (but not limited to) commercial disputes, property litigation, and contractual claims
Excellent legal research, drafting, and advisory skills
Capable of managing multiple litigation cases independently, including pre-action protocol, pleadings, disclosure, and trial preparation
Experience in liaising with clients, barristers, and courts in the UK jurisdiction
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and clear client-facing manner
Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment while maintaining consistent communication and updates with clients or team leads
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or other UK jurisdiction

Preferred

Experience using UK legal tech platforms and case management tools (e.g., LEAP, Clio, or similar)
Previous experience working with international clients or remotely with UK firms is a plus
