Responsibilities
Lead architecture and design efforts for mobile GIS solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT standards and governance
Support cloud-based deployments using Azure or AWS, leveraging PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS models
Define and implement cloud security patterns based on data sensitivity, user roles, system criticality, and accessibility requirements
Generate and maintain system architecture documentation, including diagrams and component definitions
Design systems with high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
Implement data governance strategies, including versioning and lifecycle management for spatial data
Configure and manage IT infrastructure to support GIS platforms and mobile applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS with enterprise systems such as SAP
Qualification
Required
GIS experience within the Utility space
10+ years of experience in GIS architecture and enterprise solutions, including hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise
DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and repositories
Esri Field Maps and mobile GIS workflows
Strong understanding of cloud delivery models and deployment strategies
Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions
Experience supporting field operations through mobile GIS capabilities
