Academic Tutor for TOLC Exam Preparation (Part\-Time \/ Remote)

Orienta is supporting a leading education institution in the search for an Academic Tutor who specializes in the preparation of the Italian university admission tests (TOLC). This remote, part-time role involves conducting virtual tutoring sessions, designing study plans, and monitoring student progress to help students succeed in their university entry exams.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions focused on the various TOLC tests (for example: TOLC-I, TOLC-E, TOLC-RU) in preparation for university entry
Help students master test structure, question types (logical reasoning, mathematics, reading comprehension, subject-specific modules), and exam strategy
Design study plans, practice tests, time-management exercises, and feedback sessions tailored to the TOLC format
Monitor student progress, identify weak areas, and provide targeted intervention
Coordinate with the internal team for scheduling, reporting and student updates

Required

At least 2 years of experience as a tutor, preferably preparing students for Italian university entry tests (TOLC) or other standardised exams
In-depth knowledge of the Italian TOLC test formats and content
Strong academic background in at least one relevant subject area (Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, English/Italian reading comprehension) and preferably in your chosen TOLC track (for example: engineering, economics, architecture)
Fluency in Italian (spoken and written) is mandatory
Excellent teaching and communication skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging way
Comfortable working remotely, scheduling independently, and using virtual teaching tools

Preferred

Experience preparing students for TOLC in architecture, economics or engineering
Bilingual Italian/English
