Responsibilities
Stay ahead of developments in the Fintech and UX design space, and use this deep expertise as an input to help craft the north star strategy for products with a path to incremental transition from current state
Partner with colleagues both within and outside the AWS Fintech org to deliver on shareable common UI services that can be used across products
Insist on highest standards of interface designs and defend in reviews both internally and externally with stakeholders in product/engineering leadership
Use research practices in how teams frame problems to be solved, experiment with multiple concepts through ideation workshops, and evaluate how the product is meeting customer goals (pre/post release) with engagement analytics
Earn trust across multiple internal Amazon teams (design, engineering, product) to achieve your goals
Help up-level the team with UX skill trainings, sharing best practices on scaling impact, and hosting team events to build an inclusive culture
Qualification
Required
8+ years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Preferred
Experience with UX design of complex workflows
