Design and operate Kafka clusters sustaining 1 B+ events/sec at <0.4 μs p99 latency
Build DAG-based stream topologies with exactly-once semantics and zero reprocessing
Embed CKKS/BFV fully homomorphic encryption enabling processing on fully encrypted events
Implement zk-proof event provenance verifying 1–5 ms integrity for every message
Deploy dynamic partition sharding across 10,000+ brokers with instant rebalancing
Integrate SGX / TrustZone enclaves for 1 TB-scale encrypted log segments with remote attestation
Ship 80 % event compression while preserving post-quantum security
Deliver zero-config Kafka SDKs (Rust/Go/Java) with built-in encryption and proof generation
Drive GPU-accelerated parallel stream processing and AI-driven consumer lag prediction
Publish encrypted streaming and zk-event breakthroughs at Kafka Summit, SIGMOD, SOSP
Keynote at Kafka Summit 2026 on '1 Billion Encrypted Events/sec at Sub-Microsecond Latency'
Qualification
Required
8+ years operating production Kafka clusters at ≥100 M EPS scale
Multiple deployments achieving ≥500 M EPS with <1 ms p99 latency
Hands-on FHE or zk-proof integration into Kafka Streams / ksqlDB
Deep expertise in tiered storage, KRaft, exactly-once semantics, and multi-region replication
Proven operation of 5,000+ broker fleets
Preferred
Core contributor to Apache Kafka, Confluent, or WarpStream
First-author papers at top data or systems venues
Patents in encrypted streaming, zk-event proofs, or stream sharding
