Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Back-End Server application using Java
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing codebases
Write and maintain robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
Deploy and manage web applications in production environments
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure cutting-edge solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
4+ years of hands-on experience in Back-End Java development
Strong expertise in Java development, with a deep understanding of JAX-RS / REST API architecture
Proficiency in additional technologies: TCP/IP, Thread Management, Cloud Storage, and SQL
Experience in writing unit and integration tests
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team that is fully remote
A strong sense of pragmatic software development, rather than idealized approaches to solutions
U.S Citizenship is a requirement for this role
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTP, etc.) and Cryptography (PGP, SSL)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
