GTM Strategist
2X is seeking a GTM Strategist, a key strategic leader responsible for driving high-impact marketing strategies and ensuring client growth. The role involves collaborating with senior client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver excellence in marketing initiatives while maintaining a focus on long-term strategic planning.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary strategic partner and point of contact for senior client leaders, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business, marketing objectives, and opportunities for growth
Bring expertise across the full spectrum of marketing strategy—creative, content, media, revenue operations, and analytics—and translate it into actionable GTM and ABM programs
Proactively identify growth opportunities, risks, and emerging challenges, guide clients toward sustainable, measurable results
Ensure that current strategies are aligned with long-term client goals and continuously optimize programs to maximize impact
Demonstrate a confident, credible presence in all client and internal interactions—setting the tone for professionalism, preparedness, and strategic clarity
Lead and facilitate GTM workshops, strategic planning sessions, and in-person/on-camera client meetings to foster trust, transparency, and alignment
Provide consistent communication and modeling of leadership behaviors that strengthen client confidence and internal team cohesion
Ensure all deliverables meet 2X’s standards of excellence and align to the intended strategic value outlined in the SOW
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure expectations are clear, work is on strategy, and timelines are met
Establish accountability across the team—proactively addressing misalignment, gaps, and quality issues before they impact the client experience
Act as a direct manager and strategic mentor for internal team members, supporting their development, growth plans, and performance milestones
Serve as a trusted sounding board and communication guide—helping the team understand what to share, when to share it, and how to maintain clarity with both clients and colleagues
Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Strategy leadership and HR to build improvement plans, set expectations, and support team members’ success when performance concerns arise
Maintain a clear view of what’s next: anticipating client needs, planning future initiatives, and ensuring both team and client are prepared for what’s ahead
Translate long-term objectives into actionable roadmaps that drive consistent progress and ensure the client’s GTM engine is evolving with the business
Qualification
Required
Experience in B2B marketing or growth strategy, including consultative or agency experience and ownership of enterprise-level client relationships
Experience leading GTM/ABM strategy across integrated marketing disciplines (creative, content, media, RevOps, analytics) with measurable impact
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders/C-level, facilitate strategic workshops, and present confidently in-person and virtually
Experience managing or mentoring cross-functional teams with strong leadership presence and accountability for delivery quality
Demonstrated strength in long-term strategic planning and identifying growth opportunities and risks
Expert communicator with strong executive presence, able to translate business goals into actionable GTM plans and keep teams aligned
