Responsibilities

Performing scheduled maintenance checks, inspections, and lubrication on wind turbine components

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with wind turbines

Ensuring all work activities are performed safely, adhering to safety protocols and procedures, and providing safety training

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and performance data

Climbing the towers in order to inspect, diagnose and repair components

Replacing or repairing worn-out or damaged wind turbine components

Required

High school diploma or GED is required

An associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is a plus

Other combinations of education and experience will be considered (I.e.: military, skilled trades)

Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by OSHA safety laws

Valid driver's license is required for the position and the selected candidates will be subject to a DMV check

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Preferred

A background in wind turbine maintenance or power generation is preferred but not required

Safety Knowledge: An understanding of safety protocols and LOTO procedures

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors

Physical Fitness: Ability to climb wind turbine towers and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
