Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis of business needs to translate them into functional specifications for the SAP S/4HANA Finance system, identifying critical financial processes and ensuring proper mapping within the solution
Design and configure the SAP S/4HANA Finance system, including Chart of Accounts, Company Codes, Fiscal Year Variants, Posting Periods, Business Areas, and other relevant financial parameters
Develop and execute data migration plans to transfer financial data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA Finance, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Collaborate with teams managing other SAP modules (Sales, Procurement, etc.) to ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including inter-company transactions and document flow
Lead functional testing activities, creating test scripts, executing test cases, and resolving identified issues to guarantee system quality and stability
Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users on SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities, providing ongoing support for user queries and issues
Work with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create customized reports leveraging SAP S/4HANA Finance reporting capabilities for financial analysis and decision-making
Lead and manage SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation projects, adhering to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while effectively communicating project status to key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Deep Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance: Extensive knowledge of core SAP Finance modules including General Ledger (G/L), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Asset Management
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and business needs to effectively translate requirements into SAP system configurations
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage complex SAP implementation projects, including planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and senior management
Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP configuration tools, data migration techniques, and reporting capabilities within the S/4HANA platform
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an SAP Finance consultant with a focus on S/4HANA implementation and support
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance projects
Experience in designing and implementing complex financial reporting solutions
Preferred
Experience with the SAP Business Partner Module
Experience with both Public Sector and Commercial
