Responsibilities

Work with senior Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) officers and professionals and participate in particular client transactions, projects or assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking team

Responsible for organizing and analyzing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans

Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals

Conduct economic/financial research

Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends

Build complex financial models for valuation purposes

Perform periodic loan surveillance, including re-underwriting and commentary on deal performance

Ad hoc projects, which may include loan servicing, loan administration, future fundings, amendments/modifications/extensions, payoffs, documentation, etc

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Required

Candidates are generally required to have a BA/BS, preferably with a major in real estate, business, accounting or economics

Proficiency with Excel and preferably some exposure to Argus

Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to multitask

Excellent writing and presentation skills

5-8 years of relevant experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business

Experience in evaluating financing transactions and structures

Experience creating financial analyses

Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Experience assisting with client development

Ability to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyze industry trends)

Preferred

Administration Master's degree in Business Administration preferred
