Responsibilities
Ensure compliance and other regulatory requirements (FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, Health Canada, etc.) for cosmetic and personal care products
Manage quality assurance procedures for personal care product lines
Review and approve product specifications, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
Oversee internal and external audits to assess adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain effective partnerships with Contract Manufacturers to ensure adherence to quality standards and production timelines
Conduct regular audits and site visits to manufacturing facilities to monitor adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory standards
Manage the Quality Control (QC) processes for outsourced production, ensuring that manufacturers comply with agreed-upon quality standards
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within the personal care, cosmetics, or beauty industries
Experience working with Contract Manufacturers, overseeing third-party production, and managing product quality in an outsourced environment
Knowledge of ISO 22716, MoCRA, and other regulatory frameworks in the cosmetics industry
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cosmetic products (FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, Health Canada, etc.)
