Responsibilities
Oversee month-end close and produce timely, accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements
Lead the accounting team in preparing audit documentation; partner with internal auditors to ensure compliance and resolve findings
Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and financial documentation processes
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff, driving efficiency and continuous improvement
Optimize ERP and accounting systems to streamline workflows and reporting
Deliver financial reports and insights to senior leadership to support decision-making
Oversee annual reporting requirements, including tax support, fixed assets, treasury, and insurance/risk management data
Partner with Management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Collaborate with HR, billing, purchasing, warehouse, sales, and customer service to ensure best practices and policy compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or advanced degree (MSA, MPA, MBA) preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams (AP/AR), implementing controls, and supporting audits
Strong GAAP knowledge and experience producing auditable financial statements
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
CPA or advanced degree (MSA, MPA, MBA) preferred
Experience in service, construction, or related industries preferred
