Electronic Warfare Engineer
SRC, Inc. is a not-for-profit research and development company focused on solving complex problems in defense, environment, and intelligence. The Electronic Warfare Engineer will develop and integrate complex radar threat models into simulation environments to support test and evaluation efforts.

Responsibilities
Support organizations charged with exploiting EWIRDB information to develop weapon systems and electronic countermeasures and to formulate tactics and operational deployment strategies
Develop algorithm-driven reactive radar models to run in a dynamic simulation environment
Conduct and verify engineering analysis on various weapon systems and platforms
Work with the customer to develop requirements for model fidelity, function, and simulation fit
Develop scenarios and the required waveforms for simulation based on customer requirements
Understand the relationship between software-based models and simulation hardware to support real-time simulation
Evaluate and test previously developed EWIR models for NEWEG simulator compatibility and performance
Work with the Intelligence Community (IC) to communicate program requirements and provide product feedback
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or related technical field
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with excellent verbal/written communication skills
Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
Ability to understand and write basic scripting code (Python or Matlab)
Ability to document/support technical analysis and assessments across several technical disciplines
Must be able to meet eligibility requirements for a Security Clearance
Preferred
Experience software-based simulations (object-oriented programming) and languages (Python, C++, MATLAB)
Familiarization with EWIR modeling and analysis tools (EWIRDB Toolkit and Opana)
Understanding of antenna design/analysis, radar signal processing, and radar requirements analysis
Military experience is a plus
Active Secret clearance
