Responsibilities
Serves as the Agency's Lead Physical Security Officer responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing agency-wide physical security program
Serves as a liaison for the management of the Agency's Personnel Security Program through implementation of Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Personnel Security Division (PSOD) and local policy and procedures
Leads the development of plans and procedures for implementation of OUSW(P&R's) Information Security Program. Responsible for the proper classification, declassification, and protection of classified national defense and other sensitive information originated or controlled by the organization
Establishes and maintains a documented OPSEC program that includes an OPSEC standing operating procedure (SOP) and the activity's critical information and OPSEC measures to protect it
Establishes and maintains a documented Emergency Management Program that provides for the synchronization of the operations center and field offices' all-hazards response capabilities

May be required to successfully complete a probationary/trial period
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Required to participate in the direct deposit program

The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI and SAP components
A Special Background Investigation (SBI) is required with favorable adjudication by a determining authority
The incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime
This position may require up to 15% occasional travel away from your normal duty station for official business on military or commercial aircraft
The employee assigned to this position is designated as a MISSION ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEE

Superior Qualifications Appointment may be authorized in accordance with regulatory requirements
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability with: 1) implementing core security program functions; 2) preparing guides, notices, and other correspondence to define and communicate security program policies and procedures; and 3) preparing analyses and reports of operational activities
