Responsibilities
Serve as Global Vice President of Sales for this strategic business within Blackbaud, delivering accretive growth and strong bookings contributions
Develop and execute an ambitious growth strategy focused on doubling the size of the business within a Long-Range Planning horizon
Build and execute actionable Annual Operating Plans (AOP) that bring near-term improvements to the growth and profitability of this strategic business
Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies in collaboration with leadership to meet company growth objectives
Lead all aspects of the YourCause from Blackbaud Sales business, including sales teams and close collaboration with our Marketing leaders on a global scale
Maximize team performance, foster sense of urgency, set clear goals, measure achievements, provide constructive feedback, delegate effectively, maintain open communication, and offer coaching for ongoing growth
Fearlessly approach challenges with energy, prioritizing outcomes, costs, and the bottom line. Initiating action even when all the facts aren’t known and relentlessly drives to completion
Cultivate and sustain robust, enduring relationships with customers, vendors, and key industry stakeholders
Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COE’s) including marketing, engineering, finance, and customer success to ensure strategic alignment
Manage financial resources efficiently and effectively
Warm, friendly, and approachable, effortlessly connect with diverse individuals, leaving a positive first impression and fostering strong relationships
Build diverse networks, quickly finds common ground, and treats everyone as a preferred customer
Qualification
Required
Experience as a senior Sales executive with a proven background as a growth leader with industry leading organizations in the technology, education, or non-profit sectors
Currently serving as a Senior Sales Leader and brings a demonstrated track record of hyper-growth acceleration
Executive leader or the like at a global SaaS company with revenue exceeding $300 million and a personal track record of Sales management and success doubling the size of previous businesses under management
Demonstrated success in previous roles spanning North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific
Proven leadership across sales, marketing, product, and demand generation arenas
Maintain deep domain expertise in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Philanthropy and serve as an industry spokesperson that is visible on the speaking circuit
Has expertise in SaaS company Rule of 40 focus, with proven background in delivering sales results through combination of top line growth and effective margin delivery
Has designed effective workflows, identified key performance metrics, established self-managing systems, exceling in optimizing work processes, diagnoses and resolves workflow issues promptly, and consistently seeks incremental improvements
Demonstrated experience to have keen insight into individuals, accurately identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential, understands the skills necessary for specific roles, and excels in hiring top performers
Deep experience leading SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise sales teams as key segments of a go-to-market strategy
Consistently has upheld a strong set of values, communicating transparently, and maintaining confidentiality while remaining truthful and direct
