CNC Supervisor
ASSA ABLOY Group is a global leader in access solutions, seeking a skilled CNC Supervisor to lead their Night shift operations. The role involves overseeing CNC machining operations, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities
Safety minded in all work activities; compliance with safety protocols and company policies, lead safety initiatives; commitment to safe work habits, maintaining workplace are organized aligned with 5S
Supervise daily operations of the shift, CNC machining, including setup, programming, and production
Lead, train, and mentor CNC machinists to ensure consistent performance and skill development
Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines and quality standards
Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to the team
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve processes and reduce downtime
Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and employee performance
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Support employee onboarding, training, and overall development
Address issues and resolve conflicts as they arise; manage disciplinary actions as needed
Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance records
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or manufacturing preferred
Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Proficient in reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools
Strong understanding of machining operations including milling and turning
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard manufacturing software tools
Preferred
Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
Familiarity with CNC programming (e.g., G-code, Mastercam, etc.)
Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking software
Knowledge of ISO or other quality management systems
