Responsibilities
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of platform operation engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation
Develop and execute the company's cloud strategy in alignment with business goals, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies
Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
Collaborate closely with infrastructure, database, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
Oversee the implementation of automated deployment processes and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate with security teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets industry security standards and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a leadership role managing a team of platform operations engineers or similar technical roles
In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc…) and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements in cloud environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
