Responsibilities
Lead commercial litigation matters involving contracts, real estate disputes, business conflicts, and related commercial issues
Develop litigation strategy from initial assessment through trial or resolution
Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, conduct depositions, and manage all phases of discovery
Counsel clients on risk exposure, resolution strategies, and case valuation
Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with senior partners on high-stakes cases
Work closely with clients, experts, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
Qualification
Required
10+ years of commercial litigation experience
strong real estate and contract litigation exposure
experience with Louisiana law
Licensed in Louisiana or deep experience working with Louisiana law
Strong courtroom, motion practice, deposition, and trial-preparation skills
Ability to manage complex litigation independently and interact with sophisticated clients
Exceptional writing, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred
