Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and develop new market opportunities across scientific instrumentation and laboratory automation
Conduct financial modeling, ROI analysis, and commercial justification for new products, partnerships, and expansion initiatives
Support mergers, acquisitions, international partnerships, and strategic investments
Develop business cases and revenue forecasts for new product lines and global market segments
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to translate customer needs into market strategies
Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, and competitive positioning
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
Oversee financial analysis and reporting for international subsidiaries
Ensure proper accounting treatment across foreign operations in Europe, Asia, and South America
Assist with the establishment and financial structuring of new international entities
Monitor profitability, operational performance, and compliance across global markets
Support transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and consolidation activities
Partner with international auditors, advisors, and local accounting resources as needed
Qualification
Required
Active CPA required
5+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, strategic finance, or international accounting
Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical, commercial, and international teams
Ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-growing organization
Preferred
Experience in high-technology, scientific instrumentation, or engineering-driven industries strongly preferred
