Responsibilities
Design automated solutions using established standards, including conveyors, pallets, nest fixtures, regrip stands, SPC drawers, laser marking stations, and manual operator stations
Design robotic end-of-arm tooling for material-handling applications
Develop 7th-axis robotic gantry systems (elevated or floor-mounted)
Create assembly concepts with part feeders and automated press stations
Produce system layouts, assembly drawings, and detailed drawings based on project requirements
Develop automated sequences of events and technical scopes of supply
Collaborate with suppliers on sub-assembly processes
Work closely with internal project leads to ensure all customer specifications are met
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
5–10 years of experience in mechanical design for automated systems
5–10 years of experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or other 3D CAD platforms (e.g., NX)
Strong computer and mathematical skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Knowledge of GD&T and part print reading
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred
German language skills preferred
