Interns will assist with various tasks including drafting proposals, conducting research on prospective funders, and supporting departmental mailings and events.

Responsibilities
Assist with drafting proposals, reports, and acknowledgment letters
Research prospective funders online and using in-house documents
Create and update prospect and donor files
Research fundraising programs at peer organizations to measure best practices
Collate historical fundraising data for reporting purposes
Assist with departmental mailings and communication
Help with Development events
Qualification
Required
Eligible interns are either an undergraduate or graduate student or a recent college graduate
Criminal Background-National clearance
Ability to occasionally transport up to 25 lbs. of files, equipment or supplies
Ability to move to access files, equipment or supplies
This position requires extended time on the computer
Clearly communicate in person, by phone, and by video conference
Communicate with others in conversational and written English
