Required

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, agriculture, engineering or a related field
No experience is required for Property Appraiser 1
Two years of responsible real or personal property appraisal experience equivalent to the Property Appraiser 1 for Property Appraiser 2
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying

PROOF OF REGISTRATION AS A COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER FROM THE STATE OF OREGON DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
This registration is issued by the Department of Revenue (DOR), not the Appraiser Certification and Licensure Board (ACLB). Certification by the ACLB will not qualify for this position. You must possess the DOR registration at time of hire
At minimum an appointment to sit for the exam is needed to move through hiring process
Must be in possession of a valid driver's license at time of application, and a valid Oregon Driver's license by time of appointment. Must have good driving record
