They are seeking a motivated Product Design Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in product design, development, testing, and validation.

Responsibilities
Support daily engineering activities (i.e. attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes, etc.) by shadowing engineers
Assist engineers with design, development or component troubleshooting
Assist test engineers with testing and validation
Creates reports when necessary
May be responsible for project-based tasks and assist in completing some special projects, as applicable
Adhere to all company policies and procedures including IATF16949 and ISO14000 related policies as applicable
Qualification
Required
Engineering major (Concentration in mechanical or electrical engineering)
Working towards completion of an Engineering degree, some knowledge of automotive systems is very helpful
Possess a strong interest in the automotive industry
A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Ability to operate a keyboard
Ability to see and hear (correctable)
Ability to communicate verbally
Ability to drive a vehicle
Ability to travel
Preferred
Completion of junior year by the start of internship preferred; Completion of sophomore year considered
