Staples Canada is a leading provider of innovative products and services, and they are seeking a Wide Format Print Production Associate to join their collaborative team. In this role, you will operate high-end printing equipment to produce and finish large print orders while ensuring quality and efficiency in a dedicated print facility.

Responsibilities

Efficiently operate "Wide Format" printers such as HP R2000, HP L1500, HP T3500, and finishing machines (i.e., Seal Pro Laminator, Colex ProCut, Miller Weldmaster)

Perform highly automated workflow using Onyx Thrive

Pull media and set up printers as appropriate to produce jobs

Produce jobs per job tickets and verify quality as job is run to ensure no changes in quality or printer problems have developed that may produce spoilage

Package finished products, move to appropriate location, and clean up equipment/work area

Perform appropriate operator maintenance on equipment as required

Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations

Use production tools to monitor progress of production, confer with production center associates

Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (i.e., back up driver, operate other print machines)

Required

2+ years of Digital/Wide Format printing experience

Laminating and/or mounting experience

Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills

Ability to read & interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address them proactively

Strong ability to multi-task and operate multiple printers concurrently
