Responsibilities
Manage sourcing activities including creating purchase orders, maintaining procurement documents, and placing hardware and software orders for IT projects
Assist in negotiating vendor pricing, terms, and discounts while working collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve services and value
Evaluate vendor performance, conduct supplier analysis, support sourcing decisions, and provide recommendations based on cost, quality, and delivery
Oversee contract upkeep and renewals, implement processes to ensure contract adoption, and support compliance across departments
Analyze procurement data and business processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and increase operational efficiency
Stay current on IT procurement best practices, tools, and technologies, and contribute to team development through ongoing learning and knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
Strong team player with the ability to build effective relationships across functions and levels
Proficient in organizing and analyzing data with foundational knowledge of financial principles like Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing assignments, and following through on deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with excellent written/verbal communication, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools with the ability to use or learn systems such as SAP and Power BI for reporting
Foundational understanding of contract language and procurement best practices
