Responsibilities

Provides direction and supervision for the day-to-day and planned activities of the Maintenance Engineering Group
Troubleshoots building system operation for current and potential building system maintenance problems
Maintains equipment histories as necessary for assigned areas
Reviews plans and specifications
Managers repairs, and construction projects for operations concerns/issues related to maintainability and life cycle costs of building systems and components
Provides oversight and direction to the preventive maintenance program
Recommends improvements to building systems based on data and engineering best practices

Required

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent
5 years of relevant experience
Valid Driver's License
Contract management background
Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and systems
Building standards
Building systems maintenance
Heat transfer
Fluid dynamics
Thermodynamics
Lubrication techniques and materials
Measurement equipment and related recording systems
Understand and interpret technical instructions
Plan reading

Preferred

8-12 years of relevant experience
Considerable experience in building systems operations
Work group management
Building system controls
Preventive maintenance program development and oversight
Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification
