Senior Associate Configuration Management

Responsibilities
CDRL/SDRL Management – Ensure contract deliverables are provided to the customer on time, complies with Contract Statements of Work, requirements, policies, procedures, plans, program schedules, and other technical documentation. Maintain the delivery schedule and coordinate with program team members to provide input and communicate deadlines
Documentation Formatting – Ensure program documentation adheres to internal standards, formatting requirements, and contract authorization. Ensure correct and complete markings on all documentation. Apply and track control numbers or other identifiers as required
Data Handling and Transfer – Manage all communication (incoming and outgoing) with the customer, log and track messages, maintain folder structures, facilitate the transfer of data between different networks and systems, media burning, file scanning, and file uploading
Data Entry – Input data into configuration management tool systems, ensure complete and accurate records, facilitate the correction of any errors or missing data
Other – Provide other functional support as assigned to assist the execution of various engineering and program management activities
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI clearance required. Active poly preferred
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
Requires strong technical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with prior experience in an engineering support role such as Data Manager (DM), Data Transfer Agent (DTA), Data Transfer Officer (DTO), Compliance Manager, Quality Assurance Technician (QA/QC), Technical Writer, Engineering Administrator, or similar
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Expert time management ability and sense of urgency in meeting critical deadlines
Willing to work overtime and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet deadlines
Ability to work individually and as a team member to achieve team objectives
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Visio
Preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced continuous change / agile engineering environment
Experience using Configuration Management tools (Agile PLM, Confluence, Windchill or similar)
Experience reading and interpreting Statements of Work and Data Item Description
Experience in continuous process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma
