Ardurra is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join their Land Development team in Charlotte, NC. This position provides the opportunity to work on various projects aimed at enhancing water quality and sustainability, collaborating with senior engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and site development
Conduct field inspections, and data collection to support project development
Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to develop plans and drawings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies
Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety requirements
Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
Support project documentation, permitting, and approvals as needed

Qualification

Civil EngineeringAutoCAD Civil 3DGIS applicationsEIT certificationField inspectionsProject documentationCollaboration skills

Required

Bachelors in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines
0-2 years of experience in civil/environmental engineering or related fields (internship experience preferred but not required)
Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and site development
Conduct field inspections, and data collection to support project development
Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to develop plans and drawings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies
Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety requirements
Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
Support project documentation, permitting, and approvals as needed

Preferred

Exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS applications is a plus
EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year) preferred
