They are seeking a mid- to senior-level Air Quality Engineer or Scientist to work closely with industrial and governmental clients to solve environmental challenges and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and submission of air permit applications and compliance reports

Develop and review air emission inventories, calculations, and greenhouse gas emissions reports

Direct junior staff while following established standards and procedures

Provide oversight for regulatory and compliance reviews for industrial operations

Provide guidance to client facilities on regulatory requirements and best practices

Build long-term partnerships with clients through technical excellence and strong communication

Coordinate with other supervisors to optimize group workload around multiple project schedules and competing deadlines

Support business development by assisting in proposal preparation, strategizing attendance of conferences and industry events, and making internal and external connections to help grow our client base

Supervisory responsibilities include encouraging employee growth; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints; and resolving problems

Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
