Responsibilities

Case Management: Independently manage a high-volume caseload of complex litigation matters (GL and FPP) from inception through trial or settlement across Texas and Louisiana jurisdictions

Litigation Strategy: Draft comprehensive pleadings, motions, and discovery requests; conduct legal research to guide client strategy

Advocacy: Represent clients in depositions, court appearances, and mediations; prepare witnesses and experts for trial

Client Relations: Maintain regular, professional communication with clients, providing clear guidance on legal issues and potential exposure

Resolution: Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Must be admitted to the Bar in both Texas and Louisiana (Active and in Good Standing)

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with specific exposure to both First-Party Property and General Liability defense preferred

Superior research, analytical, and writing skills

Proven ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment while managing strict deadlines
