Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight through the entire software development lifecycle (including design, development, integration, and maintenance) of software components along with support of system integration and test
Lead and guide a matrixed functional team of software engineers through software process, career development, and performance appraisals
Participate in proposal generation, staffing allocations, and recruiting
Guide the team in applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle in support of programs
Utilize an Agile development approach with tasks including decomposition of requirements into agile features, software design, coding, testing, integration, and systems test to deliver enhanced secure capabilities

Required

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other STEM degree + 8 year's experience, MS + 6 years of experience, PhD + 3 years of experience
5 years of progressive software engineering/development experience
Experience as a team lead for a software development team
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI

Preferred

Active TS/SCI clearance
7 years of progressive Software Engineering/Development experience
3 years of experience leading a software development team
Experience as a scrum master and/or product owner
Experience with functional management
Experience managing a budget for technical activities
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket)
