NC Programmer (Onsite)

Pratt & Whitney is a leader in designing, building, and servicing innovative aircraft engines. The NC Programmer will support programming projects, develop and implement programming processes, and provide shop support throughout the production cycle.

Responsibilities

Support programming projects utilizing various machine tools, controls and programming software
Own programs through implementation into production
Provide necessary shop support through the development and production cycle
Selection of new capital equipment and bringing the new equipment into production
Participating in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
Process improvement projects on existing hardware to improve product cost and quality and reduce lead time

Required

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
Demonstrated experience with graphic programming, part modeling and program simulation software, including NX and Vericut and be able to utilize process monitoring software
Candidate must have ability to learn and adapt to new programming software, code and analytical tools
US Citizenship required

Preferred

Experience with Rotating Hardware, Airfoils and continuous improvement projects preferred
