Responsibilities

Utilizing CRM to complete daily assessment of incoming quote funnel in an effort to maximize proposal win rate and balance workload across the team
Coaching and developing the key sales and technical skills of our ISE team to improve customer service and our understanding of customers’ applications
Understanding customers’ needs and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) to support their business and provide relevant solutions
Building relationships with customers in an effort to understand how we can better serve their needs
Effectively collaborate across our various business units and functional areas of our organization, allowing you to navigate quickly to a solution that addresses our customers’ needs
Weekly collaboration with Sales and Sales Management to develop and execute account and territory growth strategies
Our customers expect us to be technical experts, and you will be growing your technical skills throughout your career with Experitec to include product, service, and industry knowledge through our many training programs
Learning: Every year, Emerson provides an opportunity through new product releases for us to apply new and unique solutions to our customers

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience OR four or more years of relevant experience OR four or more years of combination of education and relevant experience
Three or more years of inside sales experience
Two or more years of prior people leadership
Excellent timely and effective communication (written and verbal) with both external customers and co-workers
Ability to demonstrate personal accountability and excellent time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Outlook email, and basic computer skills
Ability to work in office Monday through Friday for the first 6 months for training then shifting to hybrid 3:2 schedule with two work from home days per week and three days in office from 8am-5pm (occasional additional hours upon request). Flexibility to travel with occasional overnight stays and with little notice to meet customer or training needs
Ability to drive for the company with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass driving record background check
Ability to utilize personal vehicle for the majority of work travel AND ability to rent a car when requested for work travel
Ability to travel nationwide by plane for professional development/training, visits to other Impact Partners, to other Experitec sites for meetings up to 5%
Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree
Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline
Five or more years of professional inside sales work experience
Five or more years of experience in people management
Two or more years of experience in valves and instrumentation
Five or more years in manufacturing and/or industrial distribution
One or more years of experience utilizing CRM
Strong working knowledge in industrial valves and controls
Military experience
Experience with cross-functional project management
