Responsibilities

Maintain effective, regular communications with global account managers, product managers, and sales specialists
Meet regularly with the manufacturing plant’s leadership team
Develop marketing content/collateral and sales tools and training programs for the CLS sales organization and channel partners
Responsible for forecasting, financial performance tracking and business modeling
Pricing management and approvals
Monitor out-of-stock and order status situations and communicate corrective actions with manufacturing and the business team
Develop and maintain key customer relationships
Work closely with GSM and supply chain to monitor and develop regional inventory strategies
Cross-functional communication with internal manufacturing, quality, customer service and supply chain teams to facilitate rapid support of customer issues
Analyze sales and customer data to enable the sales team to protect current business and drive growth
Maintain knowledge of competitive products, market perception, and market direction
Identify new opportunities to gain a more favorable position in the market, improve profitability, or increase market share of existing products and technology through new applications
In conjunction with the Business Director, develop appropriate business plans and overall business strategy – supported by financial, manufacturing, channel, etc. data and analysis

Required

BS Life Sciences Required
4+ (ideally more) years of business experience including: product management, marketing, and/or sales in Life Science Industry
Ability to manage cross functionally in a matrix organization
Strong knowledge of marketing tools and techniques
Strong software skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Salesforce.com
Strong business opportunity assessment and financial analysis skills
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and proven ability to present to customers in the field
Understanding of product development process
Travel Requirements: 10% - 20%

Preferred

Masters level degree in Life Science, Business or Operations desired
Cell culture/cell biology experience desired
Strong negotiation skills
Creative
Good team skills, able to work in dynamic environment and interact with others
Product development experience, especially with launching new products
Familiarity with product documentation systems
Experience working in a GMP environment
