Specialist, Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for developing sales of these products for retailers, identifying and building business with various market segments, and driving profitable growth with existing accounts.

Responsibilities

Increase sales at the account(s) through analytical and fact-based selling
Facilitate promotional programs and manage through to profitable execution
Increase sales by finding new business opportunities and through consistent follow-up
Coordinate activities and communications among vendors and company functional groups
Reference and utilize databases for promotions, item maintenance, and other information regarding sales and marketing activities
Maintain and foster an effective working relationship with our retailers, brokers and supplier partners
Educate customers on items and categories to keep them on trend with key items and new innovations
Coordinate with Operations, Transportation, and Supply Chain teams to maintain service level targets, on-time delivery performance, and other operational related focuses
Leverages KeHE legacy platforms, tools, insights to drive meaningful and relevant growth

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, or Marketing
Minimum one to three years of sales experience required
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations

Preferred

Experience with retail merchandising, grocery category management, the consumer package goods industry, and/or the grocery industry
Natural, specialty and or fresh product knowledge with the ability to recognize brands and trends
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Demonstrate skill and competence with all Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
Possess a sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail
Project management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Proven track record of using data to drive decision making and results
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced business environment
Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals and contribute to a collaborative work environment- must be a team player
