The role involves providing analytical and technical expertise for capability development and aligning Fires modernization with Joint and Army priorities.

Responsibilities
Supports Army Fires and Air and Missile Defense programs, including long-range artillery, SHORAD, BMDS, and directed energy systems
Provides analytical and technical expertise for capability development, SPAR, and POM integration
Prepares information papers, briefings, and program assessments addressing performance, cost, and modernization impacts
Coordinates with ASA(ALT), T2COM, and ARSTAF to align Fires modernization with Joint and Army priorities
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
Must have doctrinal, a foundational level of operational, and technical expertise with Army Air and Missile Defense or Army Fire Support units, programs, CONOPS and capabilities
FDG contractors will validate, prioritize, analyze, and assist with ensuring Army force development requirements and modernization plans are achievable for Fires efforts to include: Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense (JTAMD) and Directed Energy, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD), artillery launchers, missiles and cannons
