Responsibilities

Perform independent analysis on obsolete and emerging hardware that assesses the impact of those scenarios on current systems

Independently analyzes the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources and modern hardware solutions

Provide acquisition recommendations based on independent analyses

Support the planning, designing, implementation, and integration of systems hardware components

Plans and executes system version upgrade releases and custom interfaces

Perform configuration management (CM) duties for various Technical Data Packages (TDPs)

Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting operating systems and software

Provide design modifications based on Commercial Off the Shelf (COTs) components for obsolete parts and for modernization initiatives
