Senior Account Executive - Local Government

They are seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive focused on net new municipal sales to identify, pursue, and close new partnerships with local government agencies, while also maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Responsibilities
Drive net new ARR by sourcing, developing, and closing new partnerships with municipal agencies
Build and manage a high-velocity pipeline through proactive prospecting, outreach campaigns, and targeted engagement
Lead discovery, platform demonstrations, and solution alignment for new government prospects
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling proposals and ensure a smooth pre- and post-sale experience
Maintain strong relationships with existing agencies while prioritizing expansion into new markets and jurisdictions
Identify champions within target agencies and influence multi-stakeholder decision processes
Represent the company at government-focused events, conferences, and webinars to generate new leads
Use ongoing professional development flywheels to keep your sales approach creative, strategic, and innovative
Qualification
Required
Proven experience (5+ years) in a quota-carrying GovTech SaaS sales role with a track record of exceeding new business targets
Expertise in full-cycle enterprise Inside Sales: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, and closing
Strong understanding of municipal structures, procurement processes, and decision cycles
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience presenting to government audiences, including at webinars and conferences
A proactive, adaptable, and results-driven mindset with strong strategic thinking skills
Ability to influence product adoption and articulate value to government leaders
Passion for improving local government operations and community engagement
