Responsibilities

Design and execute technical workforce development programs aligned with business strategy and emerging technology roadmaps
Using both Ai and traditional tools, conduct workforce capability assessments and identify critical skill gaps across technical organizations
Partner with functional teams to create technical training curricula for current and emerging technologies (AI/ML, advanced manufacturing processes)
Work with Operations, HR, Engineering, Product Development and IT to align workforce development with operational needs
Track program effectiveness through assessments, retention rates, and business impact metrics
Establish partnerships with community colleges, universities, trade schools, and workforce boards to build sustainable talent pipelines
Benchmark industry best practices and emerging technologies and drive internal adoptions to ensure WD’s programs are best in class

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
5+ years in technical program management or workforce development
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives
Experience in hardware/manufacturing/software industries

Preferred

Experience with Instructional Design, curriculum development and technical training programs
Experience with introducing new initiatives into the organization
Knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to high tech industries
