Responsibilities
Performing repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Bio-Rad’s instruments, ensuring the quality performance of our instruments for customers who are working to advance the future of healthcare
Supporting and maintaining the Bio-Rad instruments on which our customers rely on to make scientific breakthroughs helping to advance healthcare research and treatments
Building and sustaining strong relationships allows you to anticipate and advocate for our customers' needs
By adhering to FDA and GMP regulations and requirements with detailed record keeping and service documentation helps protect Bio-Rad’s integrity and reputation in the industry
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of transferable field service experience servicing electro-mechanical/electronic/optical/robotics equipment
An A.S. or B.S. in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field or military equivalent experience)
Ability to read, understand and successfully follow medium to highly complex work instructions
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
Strong computer skills and fundamental knowledge of computer networking
Strong customer relation and communication skills, both written and oral
Flexibility and enthusiasm for daily travel
Preferred
Hands on experience with Diagnostic or Life Science instruments
