Responsibilities
Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation for ServiceNow platform
Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for ServiceNow
Work with application developers, users, operational leadership, and subject matter experts to understand current and future operational data analysis goals. Recommend modern technology stacks to meet those goals and help engineering teams migrate towards their use
Collaborate with the customer's operations and technology leadership on the future analytic goals of the organization and design a technical architecture to meet those goals. Participate in configuring the architecture and advise engineering teams on its efficient use
Lead a work stream or act as a team leader and manage non-complex components of the work plan/project
Utilize analytical, process, and/or technical skills to meet project objectives and deliverables that are self-directed and within project scope
Qualification
Required
Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITSM solutions in client environments
Expert level proficiency ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM with CIS-ITSM and/or ITOM required
Additional certifications in Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management – highly desirable
Strong knowledge of ITOM capabilities (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration)
Experience and proficiency in other solutions including CSM and HRSD would be considered a plus
Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including MID servers, CMDB, and integration frameworks
Provide best practices and architectural guidance for newly built solutions and how it interfaces with other ServiceNow modules
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and configuration guides
Conduct regular system assessments and performance tuning to optimize the ServiceNow ITSM environment
Should be comfortable with making UI updates such as creating new widgets, customizing existing portal widgets etc
Experience with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, SOAP, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS etc
Proven experience in designing integration solutions from ServiceNow to other HR applications such as Workday, UKG Pro, Rippling etc
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution
Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts
Experience with SDLC processes implementing in a variety of project methodologies such as Agile/Scrum
Must be open to travel
Preferred
Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
Certification such as CIS-ITSM, CIS-OM or CIS-Discovery/Service Mapping/Event Management/Cloud Provisioning preferred
Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical documents
