Responsibilities
Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media
Define and deliver projects and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems
Produce multiple concepts for design services
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Drafting / Design or hold a Computer - Aided Design Certificate
15 years of experience preparing plans in both plan and profile
Advanced proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads and familiarity with FDOT plans preparation
Proficiency in Guidesign and Autoturn
Proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D is also preferred
Ability to collaborate and mentor others
