Kinder Morgan, Inc. is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. They are seeking an Operations Admin who will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and implementing administrative processes to improve efficiency within the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Division.

Responsibilities

Responsible for monthly accrual, forecasting and variance reporting on a rolled up division basis for multimillion dollar O&M and Capital spend
Prepare operating and capital budget materials including various analyses and preparation of presentation material for upper management. Regularly analyze and review to determine requirements for improving efficiency of this process
Coordinate/participate in the design and implementation of new administrative support mediums including documentation, databases and process descriptions
Implement procurement and contracting policies and ensure compliance with established processes
Become adept as a user of multiple and widely varied financial and business applications
Ensure that good relations are maintained with internal/external customers
Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns
Job level offered will be commensurate with experience and skill set
Limited travel requirements, less than ten days per year

Required

Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
Good computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, operating systems, database applications, ability to quickly learn company-specific applications)
Math and financial skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations and budget materials
Ability to strictly adhere to a wide set of company policies
Ability to evaluate business processes, identify improvements and propose changes accordingly
Ability to perform in a trainer role to educate others on Company processes

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a science or technical field is preferred
Preference may be given to those with experience in the energy or natural gas industry
