Responsibilities

Establish architectural principles, patterns, and best practices to ensure scalable and maintainable systems
Create high level system designs and build POCs or early versions of code involving new technologies or patterns
Partner with engineering and product leadership to outline technical requirements for large scale projects
Work with engineering teams to provide mentorship and technical leadership
Assess new tools, frameworks, and platforms to drive innovation and improve system efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
At least 10 years industry experience
Software development experience. (e.g. .NET, Python, C#)
Experience with AWS
Experience with infrastructure as code. (e.g. Terraform)
Experience with creating or supporting CI/CD pipelines. (e.g. GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)
Strong architectural understanding and experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and the ability to build high-performing and secure AI applications
Experience in capital markets, fintech, or regulated industry
Familiarity with working across global teams and cultures
