Responsibilities

Assist CHS Research Director with post award duties. Monitor grant expenditures on a monthly/quarterly basis. On new awards, provide general oversight of grants accounts, working with OSPA & dept. fiscal staff on various post award issues, etc

Create proposal and award files, verify and maintain files

Assist with internal spreadsheets and internal reporting of grants/contracts for CHS

Assist with effort verification reports on a semi-annual basis to include tracking the collection of the reports from the departments in CHS

Assist with scheduling meetings and other duties as assigned

Required

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

At least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired

Preferred

A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related area

2 – 3 years of experience in an administrative or fiscal capacity

Experience with: Higher education fiscal and/or grants

Experience with: PeopleSoft modules

Skills with: Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)

Skills with: Microsoft Word

Skills with: Adobe Acrobat
