Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical services including initial evaluations and psychodiagnosis
Treatment planning
Individual short-term psychotherapy
Crisis intervention
Group treatment
Referral services
Outreach and consultation
Consultation to parents, deans, faculty, and other concerned members of the university community
Outreach activities to student support services and organizations
Psychoeducational programming
Participate in weekly staff meetings
Clinical team meetings
Training seminars
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and working towards a Doctorate in Psychology (PhD, PsyD, EdD)
All degree requirements, including the dissertation defense, must be completed by August 24, 2026, and receipt of the doctoral degree will need to be verified no later than September 4, 2026
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills
Preferred
Specific training and experience working with diverse populations including—but not limited to—students of color, LGBTQIA students, and students of different ethnicities and immigration histories is desirable
Clinical experience in a college mental health setting is desirable but not required
Proficiency with electronic medical records is helpful
Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
