Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable services using Python and FastAPI
Build APIs to support internal tools and customer-facing applications
Collaborate closely with AI engineers to implement and optimize core AI functionality
Write clean, efficient, and testable code that meets performance and reliability standards
Participate in code reviews and help refine development workflows and best practices
Rapidly prototype new features, experiment with emerging tools, and evaluate third-party libraries
Partner with platform engineers to deploy, monitor, and maintain AI services in production
Troubleshoot production issues, implement code fixes, and contribute to the stability of existing services
Support internal AI adoption by developing tools that streamline workflows across departments

Required

5+ years of experience with Python
Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
Experience with FastAPI or other web application framework in Python
Understanding of SQL, familiarity with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS
Experience with package management in Python
Experience with adapting the latest AI technologies and Large Language Models in personal or work-related projects
Familiarity with using VMs, shell scripting
Passionate about using AI tools to improve coding workflows
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
Experience with other programming languages
Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, CSS frameworks etc
Knowledge of AI/Machine Learning concepts and algorithms
Experience with AI frameworks, i.e. PyTorch, Tensorflow, HuggingFace
