North America Payroll Administrator
InterDigital is a global research and development company focused on wireless and related technologies. They are seeking a North America Payroll Administrator to prepare bi-weekly payrolls for over 250 employees and manage all aspects of the payroll system.

Responsibilities
Process biweekly payrolls in US and Canada in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain employee payroll records including earnings, deductions, and taxes
Verify timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HR
Review and validate payroll reports for accuracy prior to submission
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, tax, and hour laws
Prepare and reconcile payroll-related journal entries and reports for accounting
Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and taxes in a timely and professional manner
Support audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and employee data
Participate in payroll system updates, testing, and implementation as needed
Review and validate variances in each pay cycle across multiple entities
Prepare reports for employees’ benefits, 401k, and garnishments, and others through vendor websites
Reconcile payroll funding reports and review and investigate any variance
Process equity transactions in payroll and balance to vendor reports
Maintain payroll SOPs and update as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
Minimum five years of experience in US and Canada payroll administration
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. VLOOKUP and the pivot table are a must
Strong analytical skills and attentiveness to detail
Strong communication skills in professional environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of employee information
Ability to research, understand, and apply federal, state, and local regulations
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaborate with global payroll, HR and accounting teams
Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy and proactiveness related to responsibilities within the role
This position requires on-site presence at the Conshohocken, PA office three days per week
Preferred
ADP Workforce Now and Workday experience are strongly preferred
