Responsibilities
Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching
Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards
Organize own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities
Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others
Carry out standard maintenance and repair activities under detailed guidance
Troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems by applying previously defined solutions
Carry out relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or equivalent
3 years of experience working on roadway and drainage projects
Proficiency in issuing daily reports electronically utilizing Microsoft 365
Proficiency in maintaining accurate quantities and detailed description of completed construction activities
Preferred
CTQP certifications in Maintenance of Traffic, Asphalt Paving Levels 1 & 2, Earthwork Levels 1 & 2, and Concrete Field Technician
