Senior Distribution Sales Manager (Regional Retail)

Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key contacts and decision-makers within assigned retail accounts
Develop and execute comprehensive joint business plans, including performance objectives, KPIs, and financial targets, to drive sustained growth
Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets by identifying new sales opportunities and driving sell-through and sell-out performance
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement channel marketing strategies, manage merchandising plans (e.g., planograms, fixtures), and ensure effective in-store and online product presentation
Provide training and support to partner sales staff on product offerings, features, and value propositions to ensure successful product positioning and sales
Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to make data-driven decisions and provide reliable sales forecasts to internal stakeholders
Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements with channel partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Proactively manage and resolve potential channel conflicts by fostering excellent communication and adherence to channel rules of engagement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales target at Regional Retailers (minimum of 3-5 years preferred)
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and strong analytical skills using tools like Excel for data analysis and reporting
Strong relationship-building skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Ability to think strategically and translate market insights into revenue
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events (up to 20% travel may be required)
